Hello everyone! I have some great news! After some bumps in the road we have finally come to the finish line. I'm happy to say that the Texas deck is almost finally finished. The gilding process is almost over and is scheduled to be finished on the 1st of June. With that news and with all of the hickups behind us, I'm happy to announce that starting on Monday of next week we will start fulfilling orders. I will be taking the remaining week to organize and prepare all of the rewards. I will begin with all of the orders that DO NOT include the Gold Edition (The Gilded version) and hopefully by the time I am finished with those orders I will have received the Gilded decks and be able to complete the fulfillment.
Jacob my incredible former employee has recently moved and shipped out for special military training in Arizona where he is an officer in the US Army. Because of that I will be fulfilling all of the orders by my self. Thank you ahead of time for your patience and support throughout this entire process. I will be sure and update you with any other changes that may come down the pipe.
Thanks
Jackson

I first off want to express my deepest appreciation for all you. With out the help and support of all the backers this and all of my projects would not have been made possible. I wanted to give you guys a quick update on both the status of production and also some very sad news that effects me personally and in turn, Kings Wild.
If you have been trying to contact me over the past few weeks and have been frustrated with my response time it is for a very simple reason. My youngest daughter Hannah passed away two weeks ago and I have been focusing all of my attention and efforts on taking care of my very special family.
One of the things I love most about Kickstarter is that you the backer get to be a part and also to see into the lives of the creators you support. That aspect, I believe, makes the part you play as a backer so much more meaningful than just purchasing something of a website. I am not a huge company with numerous employees, Kings Wild is a very small operation and we have done, and will continue to do our very best to take care of all issues you may have.

With that said. Production of the Texas deck is still continuing.
Here is some more detailed info on how we are "fixing" the card error issue.
When I set out to try and find a solution to the error card problem and how to reprint the card, I wanted to find a solution that wouldn't be cost prohibitive for me and also no cost to you.
One option was to just reprint a complete deck of nothing but the corrected card. This plan proved undoable because I only need around 1750 corrected cards to replace all of the cards in all of the decks. Even if I printed a 1000 deck run with USPCC, of all the same card, i would end up with 56,000 cards.
The option I chose was to print an entirely different deck and to tag on two of the corrected Texas cards within that sheet. Every deck printed with USPCC has a total of 56 cards. Traditionally you have 52 playing cards, 2 jokers and 2 add cards. USPCC has a special machine designed to extract the 2 add cards from every deck as most customers don't want or need the extra cards. I am utilizing this machine to extract the two corrected Texas cards from this new deck. This way I will only have to print around 1750 of this new deck to get enough corrected cards to replace the errored card in the Texas deck. The artwork for this new deck has already been completed and we will be submitting it for production once USPCC opens back up for the new year. I have already spoke with USPCC and they will be giving this deck priority on the production line in order for me to get the corrected Texas decks sent out to all of you guys.
This new deck has nothing to do with the Texas deck and will be available at a later date. You in no way need to worry about this new deck or having to purchase it. It is simply the vehicle to print the corrected Texas cards.
I know that is a ton of confusing info but I just wanted to be completely transparent with everything for those who might have had questions.
Yet another production speed bump.
Unfortunately the Gilding machine at the United States Playing Card Company is no longer functioning and because of the they will no longer be offering gilding.
Q: "How does that affect the Gold Editions of the Texas deck?"
A: Unfortunately USPCC was only able to Gild around 250 Texas decks before there machine called it quits. I have worked out a solution with a third party to gild the sufficient number of Texas decks so that everyone will receive what they pledge for. Production is still going full speed ahead, I am just having to deal with a more than normal number of production speed bumps with this specific project. It is still to far out to give you a specific date for delivery but if I were to estimate it will probably early spring sometime. I will keep you guys posted on any updates. Thank you so much for your patience. We want to make sure everything is up to the highest standards of quality before we send you your rewards.
As always, if you have any questions feel free to send me an email at [email protected] please don't message me through Kickstarter as I check my personal emails much more regularly. I may not respond immediately but I will respond as soon as possible.
Thank you again for all of your support and I wish all of you a very happy new year. There are some very exciting things planned for Kings Wild in 2016.
Thanks,
Jackson
